From tapestry and fresco, we can find examples of humans decorating the walls of their environments throughout history. These techniques served not only the purpose of embellishing a room; often, it also provided an additional layer of insulation from the cold. However, tapestries and frescos were extremely expensive, thus reserved to the rich and the nobles. Over the years, people who were not able to afford this luxury, but still wealthier than the average citizen, found themselves turning to wallpapers as a mean to decorate their rooms in a less expensive way.

The decor style of early wallpapers were very ornamental, with large motives printed on big sheets. With time, artists started producing different types, using the idea of a space as big as a wall to paint pictures that could span several meters. We wanted to offer a different idea of wallpapers, keeping in mind the aesthetic themes of them while providing the benefits of La Fibra, such as durability and a better resistance to the passing of time. In this regard, following the wallpapers trend, we acquired two busy graphics that create that elegant and eclectic look that lines up with our aesthetic, thus creating the Wallpapers series.
